Game manufacturer EA Sports announced the ratings of the top 100 footballers in FIFA21 on Thursday. Not every footballer is happy with the rating they have received in the most popular football game in the world.
Romelu Lukaku has even used his social media accounts to hit out at EA Sports after he saw his ratings for Pace.
Liverpool ace Trent Alexander-Arnold was surprised with his ‘low rating’ for shooting, while Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte was disappointed with his overall rating.
Internazionale striker Romelu Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the world and also in the game with an 85 overall rating. The Belgian forward, however, is not happy with his 81 rating for Pace. “Did EA Sports not see my goal against Shakhtar Donetsk”, the forward posted on Instagram.
“What is wrong with them”, Lukaku referred to EA Sports.
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold was also surprised about his shooting rating. “Obviously I am very happy with 87, which is really high.” But the England international is a little bit unhappy about his shooting rating which is 66: “Maybe they have chosen it because it is my shirt number. I hope so. I won’t say too much about it, but I would have liked it more if that rating would have been a bit higher.”
Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte received an overall rating of 87, which makes the French defender one of the best players in the Premier League. However, he has scored a low 63 rating on Pace. Laporte made a post on Twitter in which he reacts to his rating. To compare: Virgil van Dijk, who is the best defender in the game, has 76 speed. The fastest central defender in FIFA21 is Real Madrid starlet Raphael Varane (82).
